Do I need to belong to a consortium to work with XPERISUS?
No. XPERISUS works with independent travel advisors and agencies, whether or not they belong to a consortium. We also welcome advisors referred to us by existing partners.

How do I send XPERISUS my first request?
For your first request to XPERISUS, please include your client’s travel dates, number of travelers and group composition, interests, and approximate budget.

- We prepare your proposal
Our team reviews your request, confirms any necessary details with you, and prepares a tailored proposal.
- We bring the journey to life
You present the proposal to your client, and XPERISUS takes care of the arrangements and on-the-ground operations in Japan.

How quickly can I expect a response from XPERISUS?
XPERISUS’s initial response provides a preliminary assessment and an estimated timeline for your proposal. We prepare proposals within a few business days and prioritize trips departing within the next three months.
We recommend contacting us early, particularly for travel during peak seasons, as sought-after private guides and ryokan are often booked well in advance.
Will XPERISUS deal with my client directly?
No. XPERISUS partners exclusively with travel advisors and agencies, ensuring that your client relationship remains entirely yours.
We work behind the scenes, sharing proposals directly with you while giving you full control over what is presented to your client and when.
What terms does XPERISUS offer travel advisors?
XPERISUS offers net rates as standard, allowing you to apply your own markup. Gross rates, inclusive of your commission, are also available upon request. We can also provide unbranded proposals for you to present under your own brand.

What can XPERISUS arrange for my client?
XPERISUS arranges stays at hotels and ryokan, private guides, chauffeured transfers, fine dining, and exclusive cultural access. Our services range from complete tailor-made journeys to individual arrangements.
Here are two examples of journeys we have arranged, with client details kept confidential:
A private after-hours visit to a World Heritage temple and shrine, guided by the chief priest, followed by a kaiseki dinner.
Selecting the day’s freshest catch alongside a sushi master, followed by a private sushi dining experience with the counter reserved exclusively for the guests.

Is XPERISUS a Virtuoso partner?
Yes. XPERISUS has been a Virtuoso Preferred Partner since August 2026. However, this partnership does not limit who we work with: travel advisors and agencies are welcome, whether or not they belong to a consortium.
Can XPERISUS guarantee English-speaking guides and drivers?
We guarantee English-speaking guides and can also arrange French-, Spanish-, Chinese-, or Korean-speaking guides upon request, subject to availability. We recommend booking early for these languages. While we cannot guarantee English-speaking drivers due to limited availability, all drivers we work with are experienced professionals.
Can I speak with XPERISUS before presenting a proposal to my client?
Yes. We would be happy to arrange a brief introductory call to discuss your client’s needs, clarify expectations, and review how we can work together.
